Booking + Cancellation Policies

our booking policies

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the desired service is required to book and secure an appointment for new guests. 

The deposit will go toward the cost of your service with Salon True.  In the event of a rescheduled appointment, the deposit will be transferred to the new appointment with no less than 48 hours' notice.


No kids or additional guests in the salon.

As much as we love to hear everything about your kiddies, please leave all friends and family that do not have an appointment at home so we can ensure every client has a peaceful and pleasant salon experience, and our stylists can focus on you and your hair.


One booking at a time.

Please do not book multiple appointments unless approved by your stylist.

our cancellation policies

We ask that you provide us with 48 hours' notice of cancellation.

We recognize that not all of life's unexpected events come with notice, please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.  In case of a true, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency, a cancellation fee will be charged and will be handled on case-by-case scenario.

A cancellation or request to reschedule made less than 48 hours in advance will incur a cancellation fee. The amount charged will be equal to 50% of the booked services.

If you cancel or reschedule two appointments within 48 hours of your appointment you will be required to place a 25% non-refundable deposit for all future appointments.

In the event of a rescheduled appointment, the deposit will be transferred to the new appointment with no less than 48 hours' notice.  If rescheduling within 48 hours, another deposit will be required.

No show appointments will not be tolerated.

If you no show an appointment you will be required to pay full amount for the missed appointment before re-booking.

Weather-related Cancellations

If major roadways are not cleared, the cancellation fee will be waived.  We realize we do experience heavy weather in Calgary, however our cancellation policy does stand when major highways have been cleared.

Late Arrivals

We understand that things may happen outside of your control that make you late to your appointment. We are committed to doing everything we can to accommodate you, however, if you are running more than 15 minutes late and we cannot accommodate your full appointment , the same cancellation fee (50% of the book services) will be charged.

At Salon True, we do not issue refunds for services rendered or products purchased.

However, we are committed to ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. We believe that great hair and a wonderful experience are the keys to happiness and success.

If you encounter an issue with your hair colour or cut, your stylist will gladly work with you to address it at no additional charge. Please notify the salon within 72 hours of your appointment. Any follow-up work must be completed within 7 days of the original appointment.

Please note that your stylist will first consult with you to discuss your concerns. If you request additional work beyond what was discussed during the original consultation, this would require a separate appointment and may incur additional costs.
